Probitas 1492 strengthens financial lines leadership

Lloyd's underwriting syndicate Probitas 1492 has promoted Paul Nolan to head of professional indemnity and financial institutions.

In his new role, Nolan will work closely with Ernesto Medina, head of FI, broadening his responsibility for the strategic direction and portfolio management for both PI and FI, within the wider financial lines team.

Medina will continue to be responsible for the underwriting of the FI account, whilst reporting into and collaborating with Nolan who will drive the team’s direction and provide stewardship to drive the book forward.

Nolan brings considerable experience to the role, having built a PI book for the syndicate.

Under his leadership we believe we can further strengthen our position within the FI market for the syndicate.”
