Prudential Financial declares quarterly dividend on common stock

Insurance company Prudential Financial has declared a quarterly dividend of $1.00 per share of common stock, payable on December 12, 2019, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 26, 2019.

Capital returned to shareholders was $1.4 billion in Q3 2019 versus $0.8 billion for the year-ago quarter, including the $1.00 per common share dividends, representing a 4 percent yield on adjusted book value.

On November 4 the company reported net income attributable to Prudential Financial of $1.418 billion for the third quarter of 2019, compared to $1.672 billion for the year-ago quarter.
