RenRe Capital Partners hires senior ILS exec from Aon

RenaissanceRe Capital Partners, the ILS unit of RenaissanceRe, has hired an experienced ILS executive from Aon.

Roger Beach was previously assistance vice-president of Aon’s ILS unit, responsible for managing the services provided to large multi-national clients with complex insurance programs specializing in the ILS market. He worked on the development, structuring, licensing, and management of natural catastrophe bonds, mortgage bonds, transformers, sidecars, and life insurance securitizations.

He has joined RenaissanceRe Capital Partners as a senior analyst, supporting all aspects of operations, management, business development and transaction execution for all reinsurance joint ventures including ILS and catastrophe reinsurance.

He will report to Laura Bonanno, vice president. Prior to joining Aon in 2018, he worked at life and annuities reinsurance specialist Athene for four years. He started his career with Deloitte in Bermuda and the Caribbean.
