RFIB hires new managing director for Americas

Lloyd's re/insurance broker RFIB Group has appointed Joseph Stanoch as a managing director of RFIB Americas.

Stanoch will take up his position with immediate effect, reporting to Nick Foden-Pattinson, and will be based in the company's Minneapolis office.

Stanoch has over 35 years of experience in the reinsurance industry with US-based brokerage houses, including EW Blanch Co., Sedgwick Re, Holborn, and Burns & Wilcox.

Foden-Pattinson said: “Joe brings a wealth of experience in excess and surplus lines casualty business, workers compensation, alternative risk solutions, MGA programs and surety to RFIB. He is a great fit to our team, and I am very pleased to welcome him to RFIB.”

Stanoch commented: “I am very excited to be joining RFIB Americas. The US is a market with huge growth potential and a genuine demand for truly independent, customer-driven brokerage services. I look forward to working with the outstanding team at RFIB Americas in developing business throughout the country.”
