Robertson Taylor boosts UK team

Global insurance broker for the live entertainment industry, Robertson Taylor, has appointed Richard Arnold as head of private client services in the UK.

Arnold has over 20 years of experience in this sector and joins from R K Harrison, where he held the position of account director overseeing London and the South East.

In his new role, Arnold will have responsibility for building the business’s existing private-client division and handling high net worth individuals from across the global entertainment industry. Robertson Taylor handles the personal insurances for over 60 percent of The Sunday Times Music Rich List.

Arnold’s appointment follows several senior hires to the executive team at Robertson Taylor in 2014, including Kelly Belton-Brown as head of UK music and events and Paul Chapman as global broking director.

John Silcock, CEO, Robertson Taylor, said: "In 2014, for the first time in the company's 38-year history, our revenue hit almost £17 million – a milestone we want to build on going forward with our ambitious vision for the business. We now have a really strong executive team in place to help us deliver on this ambition.”

Arnold said:“Robertson Taylor has an unparalleled reputation for its consistent delivery and flexible approach, working in what is an exciting but challenging industry. I am relishing the task of working with an ambitious and talented team to help drive the next phase of Robertson Taylor's development.”
