RSA appoints new commercial risk solutions CUO
UK commercial insurer RSA has appointed Mandy Hunt to succeed Colin Bradbury as chief underwriting officer (CUO) for commercial risk solutions (CRS), RSA UK & International.
Bradbury is set to retire next year after more than 40 years with the company.
Hunt is currently managing director of RSA’s Jersey and Guernsey-based insurance business, the Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands (ICCI).
Hunt has worked at RSA for 20 years following eight years in broking. Before her appointment as Channel Islands MD in 2016, she held liability and schemes portfolio lead roles in the South before taking up the post of Redhill regional manager.
Rob Gibbs, CRS managing director, said: “Colin is a highly respected underwriter and leader within RSA and will be missed by his friends and colleagues when he retires next year. Recently, Colin has gone further in sharing his expertise directly with our broker partners, via a series of webinars covering regulatory issues. I’m pleased Colin is staying with us for another 12 months, which ensures a smooth transition following his retirement.
