RSA’s Asia CEO to head Berkshire Australia

Chris Colahan, the chief executive officer (CEO) of RSA Asia, is set to head Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance’s new operations in Australia.

He has led RSA’s Asia operations since July 2012. Prior to this he was the CEO of RSA’s Hong Kong operations. Colahan joined RSA in 2005 as a group strategy analyst.

A spokesperson for RSA said: “Chris Colahan will be leaving RSA. Chris and his family have decided to make the difficult decision after ten years abroad to leave Asia and return home to Australia. We would like to thank Chris for all of his hard work over the last 10 years and wish him and his family best wishes for the new chapter in their lives.”
