Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) has appointed Charlie Rosson as senior vice president, based in San Francisco, California.

In his new position, Rosson will be tasked to further develop RSG's penetration with brokers on a national basis.

Patrick Ryan, founder, chairman and CEO of RSG, said: “Charlie is a true insurance professional who will assist RSG to continue accelerating our growth. He’ll be further developing relationships to sell the specialty products and services of the RSG companies.”

Rosson added: “I am thrilled to join this dynamic organization that has proven, first class leadership at the helm.”

RSG recently acquired the Nordic operations of Navigators as part of its European expansion plan.
