SiriusPoint shake-up rages on, COO exits, newbies promoted to board
An ongoing management shake-up at specialty re/insurer SiriusPoint continues unabated as chief operating officer Prashanth Gangu follows former CEO Sid Sankaran to the exit and two senior leaders receive promotions to the executive leadership team.
Patrick Charles (pictured, left) joins the board on promotion to global head of property/casualty after having brought his 20 years of underwriting experience to SiriusPoint just eight months ago in September 2021 to become head of Americas for P&C.
Charles becomes responsible for the company’s global strategy in P&C insurance, the expansion of SiriusPoint's strategic partnerships, and the development of products and services to support new and existing partnerships.
Darryl Siry (pictured, right), the company’s chief technology officer, will also take a seat on the executive board. Siry has been with the company for a year leading the tech integration and is additionally responsible for the development of the managing general agency (MGA) operating platform.
