Skuld reinforces casualty management
Marine insurer Skuld has appointed Sandro Vuylsteke as global casualty co-ordinator.
Vuylsteke, based in the Copenhagen office, will work closely with the Skuld business unit leaders and casualty co-ordinators to ensure optimal handling of casualty cases.
He was previously head of claims in Skuld Copenhagen. In connection with Vuylsteke’s appointment, Skuld has named Krester Kroeger Kjaer as vice president, head of claims in Skuld Copenhagen.
“Skuld has seen significant growth in the past 10 years. In addition to diversification, we have invested in people to ensure we can continue to deliver the service excellence with which Skuld is synonymous. As casualties become more complex, it is essential that we have the capabilities to support our members and clients with professional casualty management services,” said Douglas Jacobsohn, Skuld CEO and president.
Vuylsteke said: “The creation of this role is an important milestone in Skuld’s commitment to providing the best service available to our members and clients, and I look forward to working with the casualty support group and the business units to reinforce Skuld’s reputation as one of the world’s leading providers of marine insurance.”
