SRS expands European presence with new Luxembourg branch
Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has launched a new branch in Luxembourg with the hiring of Brian Collins as managing director, in a move aimed at expanding its presence in Europe.
The Luxembourg branch will operate within the company’s pan-European captive management structure under SRS Management Europe PCC.
Collins joins SRS from Stadhold Insurances (Luxembourg), a subsidiary of Randstad, where he was captive manager of both the insurance and reinsurance companies. Prior to that, he was general manager of Colonnade Insurance S.A., the Luxembourg subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings. Collins also spent over 20 years at Marsh Management Services starting his career in Dublin and continuing in Luxembourg for 17 years, where he managed not only local captives, but also French, Dutch and Bermudian captives.
Additionally, as part of its expansion within Europe, SRS also appointed Emily Cadby and Yashminn Yanez to the firm’s European Consulting and Management practices.
Cadby joins SRS from Willis Towers Watson as an assistant consultant in the Dublin office. Prior to this role, she was insurance manager with Marsh Captive Solutions in Dublin.
Yashminn Yanez will join the Malta office in October as an account manager. She was previously a finance account manager at Marsh Captive Solutions in Dublin.
