Swiss Re Corp Solutions appoints Germany manager

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Kuno Linder as country manager for Germany.

Linder will be based in Munich and is responsible for the company's interests in the German commercial insurance market. He will also develop and implement the company’s strategy to accelerate its growth in Germany.

In his new role, Linder will report to Reto Collenberg, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' head for DACH, Benelux & CEE.

With more than 25 years' experience in insurance, Linder has spent most of his career in various roles in the German primary market. He was chief executive officer of Nationale Suisse Germany and also country manager of XL, where he built up its German organisation.

Tom Keist, who served as country manager Germany ad interim, will continue leading the regional specialties underwriting teams as head specialties EMEA.

"Our strategy for Germany – and the region – is to strengthen our local presence by bringing our products and services closer to local brokers and clients. Mr. Linder, with his extensive business network and knowledge of the German market, is very well positioned to carry out our strategy."

Collenberg said: "Kuno has a solid track record building and managing a profitable commercial insurance portfolio. He is a great addition to the team. We expect him to lead our growth and achieve our business goals in Germany."
