Swiss Re Corporate Solutions appoints new Latin America CEO from Allianz
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of Swiss Re Group, has appointed Angelo Colombo as the new CEO of Latin America, effective from October 2019.
Colombo succeeds Axel Brohm, who has been appointed head of actuarial and data science Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.
Colombo was most recently chief executive officer South America at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), having previously served as AGCS Brazil head. Prior to Allianz, he worked at RSA and Munich Re.
In his new role, Colombo will be responsible for managing the company's commercial insurance business in Latin America. He will also oversee Swiss Re Corporate Solutions México Seguros SA de C.V.; Compañia Aseguradora de Fianzas SA Confianza, the joint venture between Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and Seguros Confianza; and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Brasil Seguros SA, the joint venture between Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and Bradesco Seguros SA, a company controlled by Banco Bradesco SA.
