The Hartford lures ACE execs
US insurer The Hartford has hired two ACE executives into its personal lines management team in a bid to drive strategic growth initiatives.
Mary Boyd joins as senior vice president and head of the personal lines direct channel, a newly created role that combines direct sales, marketing and service in one team.
Boyd most recently served as the executive vice president of ACE private risk services and previously served as chief operating officer and chief administrative officer.
Casey Campbell rejoins The Hartford as senior vice president and head of the personal lines agency channel.
Most recently, Campbell led operations and IT for ACE's Latin America region with responsibilities spanning eight countries.
Both Boyd and Campbell will report to Ray Sprague, executive vice president of personal lines.
Sprague said: “Our personal lines business is focused on building momentum and driving profitable growth for The Hartford. Mary and Casey are well-known, accomplished industry leaders who can help us execute this strategy by maximising our direct business including AARP-branded offerings, and differentiating our agency channel with stronger partnerships that create added value for the organisation.”
