UIB taps Roanoke International to boost marine unit with new hire
Re/insurance broker UIB has hired an experienced executive who has previously worked for Roanoke International Brokers and Arthur J. Gallagher to bolster its marine division.
David Waller (pictured) joins as divisional director reporting to Andrew Little, managing director – head of marine.
Prior to joining UIB, Waller spent four years with Roanoke International Brokers as executive director, where he led its cargo and stock throughput business. Before that, he was the divisional director of Arthur J. Gallagher (UK), focusing on cargo and stock throughput risks.
Little said: “Our Marine Division at UIB already possesses a plethora of knowledge and expertise and David’s appointment only serves to make our offering even more compelling. His experience in the Marine insurance sector and his portfolio of contacts will enhance the value of the business in a multitude of areas. We are looking forward to inducting him as a key member of our team.”
