UK insurtech Send partners with Bowhead Specialty Underwriters
UK-based insurtech Send Technology Solutions has unveiled a “landmark US deal” that it says will enable insurers around the world to automate, streamline and optimise their operations.
Send has partnered with Bowhead Specialty Underwriters, a provider of specialty liability coverages, allowing it to use its commercial insurance platform that supports and facilitates the underwriting process, from submission to bind.
The Send Underwriting Workbench is currently used by a number of UK carriers. The platform incorporates automation, third-party and AI-enabled data usage and offers flexible components such as Integrated Pricing and Bordereaux Management.
New York-based Bowhead writes professional liability cover, including D&O, management liability, errors & omissions, healthcare and casualty lines. The partnership enables the specialty insurer to bring its insurance administration work into one solution and to easily view and track work through the entire lifecycle.
