Vestoo plucks ILS guru with Axis-Fidelis-Aeolus pedigree for PM role

Alternative risk transfer and insurance-linked investment platform Vesttoo has found an ILS guru with a background running through Axis Capital, Fidelis and Aeolus Capital management to take up a key role as portfolio manager.

James Anfossi becomes assistant vice President and portfolio manager for Vesttoo based out of Bermuda to help the ILS focused insurtech to build and manage portfolios of insurance and reinsurance-linked investments for third-party institutional capital providers.

Over a twelve-year insurance career, Anfossi has done time with AXIS Capital as a catastrophe and risk modelling analyst, Fidelis as a risk analyst with exposure to ILS fund metrics and Aeolus Capital Management, where he worked as an analyst for over a year and a half.
