Willis capital markets head departs
Tony Ursano, the chief executive officer of Willis Capital Markets & Advisory (WCMA), has stepped down after six years in the role.
Willis said: “Tony has done a great job building WCMA over the past several years. Everyone at Willis wishes him well for the future.”
Ursano joined Willis in 2009 to form its investment banking operation. Since the formation, the group has advised on more than 70 mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital raising transactions.
Prior to this, he served at Banc of America Securities where he built and managed the global financial institutions corporate/investment banking group for nine years before being named vice chairman in 2008.
