Willis Towers Watson appoints Joe Peiser to lead global broking strategy

Broker Willis Towers Watson has appointed Joe Peiser as global head of Broking within its corporate risk and broking segment.

In this role, Peiser will be responsible for leading the company’s global broking strategy as well as driving the broking-related data and technology strategy, which focuses on the capture of data and delivery of analytics.

Peiser will maintain his current role as head of broking for North America. Based in New York, he will report to Adam Garrard, global head of corporate risk and broking.

Peiser joined Willis Towers Watson in 2014 and, shortly thereafter, assumed leadership of the company’s North America casualty broking business. In 2017 he became head of broking for the region. Prior to joining the company, Peiser served as president for Wright Specialty Insurance Agency. He also worked at RMI Consulting and Marsh.

“We’re pleased to name Joe to this important role. He is a respected leader with over 30 years of insurance industry experience and is uniquely suited to lead this global team," said Garrard. "I’m confident we will achieve our strategic goals and further our market position under his leadership while continuing to deliver the best possible client outcomes across all global insurance markets.”
