Xchanging hires IoT head from Vodafone
Xchanging the business process, procurement and technology services provider, has appointed Richard Cornish as head of internet of things (IoT) to steer the company’s services in the IoT space and drive strategic growth for Xchanging Technology Services.
In his new role, Cornish will build upon the strength of Xchanging’s technology capabilities by spearheading its global IoT strategy and propositions.
He will report to Alok Sinha, president, Global Application and Engineering Services.
Cornish joins Xchanging from Vodafone Group Enterprise where he worked for four years and was responsible for Vodafone’s connected products and services. During that time, he created propositions such as Smart Cities for Qatar, and Vodafone Vehicle Connect for Automotive OEMs and the insurance industry.
Sinha said: “Richard will help us execute our long-term strategy alongside developing key customer relationships and driving growth opportunities. His extensive international experience and impressive track record of delivering highly profitable and innovative new business make him a great fit for Xchanging.
