XL boosts Swiss financial lines team
XL has strengthened its financial lines team in Switzerland in response to what it believes are the growing needs of multinational companies for this type of coverage.
Hendrik Jauer joined XL Group’s international financial lines team as head of Switzerland in February 2014 to build and lead a new local financial lines team based in Zurich.
Jauer joined XL Group from AIG where he was the financial lines manager responsible for Switzerland and Austria. Previously, he held underwriting roles at Chubb Europe in Germany and Switzerland.
Michael Kuprianczyk joined XL Group in July as senior underwriter, international financial lines. He joined from AIG where he held a similar position.
Kuprianczyk has over 12 years of professional experience working as a financial lines underwriter and financial analyst for various global financial institutions including BNP Paribas Suisse, Torus Insurance Europe, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Chubb Insurance.
Alexander Gage joined XL Group as head of underwriting management for international financial lines earlier this year. Also based in Zurich he is, among other things, responsible for global insurance programmes and the cross-border insurance capabilities of international financial lines worldwide.
He joined XL Group from Zurich Insurance Company where he was head of legal & tax for international product underwriting.

The breadth of expertise in our new Financial Lines team in Switzerland will allow us to better cover a diverse range of risks with tailored products.”
