XL Catlin lures Axis Specialty exec
XL Catlin’s insurance operation has appointed Robert Peretti as senior vice president (SVP), head of broker and client management in the Americas.
Based in New York, Peretti will report to Joseph Tocco, chief executive of XL Catlin's Americas region.
Peretti joins XL Catlin from Axis Specialty (US) Services where he most recently served as senior vice president and head of broker relations and distribution.
Over the last three decades, he has held various senior broker management and client executive positions with Zurich, Marsh and The Hartford.
Tocco said: "Our success relies on knowing our brokers' and clients' insurance needs and developing solutions across product lines or geographies that fulfill coverage requirements, add value to their own operations, and ultimately contribute to their business success.
