XO Enters market with new freelancer offering
Specialist supplier to the broker market, XO, formerly known as Xbroker, has launched a new professional indemnity insurance product called Freelancer.
It will provide cover to self-employed professionals such as construction staff, accountants and electricians as well as SMEs through brokers.
Lyndon Wood, CEO, XO, said: “Freelancer enhances our product offering and this is the perfect time for us to provide brokers with the option to provide self-employed professionals and SMEs with the opportunity to have professional indemnity insurance with the option of having public liability and employers’ liability as part of the same product,” he said.
The limit of indemnity on this product is from £50k up to £2 million with or without retroactive cover, and this can be in the aggregate or any one claim. The policy is also suitable for companies with a turnover of up to £1.5 million.
“We have recently rebranded Xbroker to XO in order to change the identity of our business to better reflect our current vision of developing more commercial-based solutions with our insurance partners to enhance our offering to supporting brokers,” said Wood.
“Our goal now is to give our partners the opportunity to tailor policies based on client needs as we have gained an extensive understanding of what brokers actually want - exclusive underwriting capacity, an experienced in-house team, and a straightforward mature accessible service and our latest product is one step closer to achieving our vision.”
