2024 Atlantic hurricane season to be ‘hyper-active’, warns TSR

The 2024 North Atlantic could face a “hyper-active” hurricane season, with activity levels nearly doubling the 30-year climate average, the UK government-supported research venture Tropical Storm Risk (TSR) has warned.
