Allianz bids for Portuguese P&C insurer, in advanced negotiations: reports

German re/insurer Allianz is in advanced talks to buy Portuguese property & casualty insurer Caravela Seguros, having submitted an offer, according to Portuguese newspaper Jornal Economico and Bloomberg.
