Allstate cuts Florida reinsurance tower at mid-year, shifts toward ILS

US property insurer Allstate cut back again on its reinsurance cover for Florida catastrophe at the mid-year renewals while shifting the heavy lifting to ILS after having added limit to its non-Florida nationwide programme.
