Allstate goes bigger cat reinsurance nationwide, smaller in Florida

US retail P&C carrier Allstate increased its nationwide catastrophe protection at the 2026 mid-year renewals while trimming its Florida property catastrophe programme, with the largest additions coming at the top of its nationwide occurrence tower.
