American Coastal renews cat treaty 1/1 with rate down, retentions up

American Coastal, a Florida-focused commercial residential insurance carrier, claimed a “significant” cut in risk-adjusted rate and a build-out of its reinsurer panel at the 1/1 2026 where it renewed its all-other-peril and cat aggregate programs with a moderate increase in the group’s total retention throughout the towers.
