American Coastal renews Florida windstorm 1.6 with rates down 12%

Florida-focused homeowner and condo insurer American Coastal upped its core Florida windstorm property cat reinsurance aggregate limit by a modest 4% at the 1.6 renewal exercise with risk-adjusted XoL rates down 12.2% — then trimmed its quota share cover to boot.
