AmTrust acquires French/UK insurer to expand European specialty footprint

AmTrust International has acquired a European B2B2C insurer, adding a licensed pan-European insurance platform and strengthening its presence in France and the UK as it seeks to expand its specialty business through delegated underwriting and managing general agent (MGA) partnerships.
