APAC reinsurers face margin squeeze, alternative capital gains ground

Asia-Pacific reinsurers face heightened pricing pressure and squeezed underwriting margins through the remainder of 2026 as softening conditions meet growing “relevance” from alternative capital, Fitch Ratings has said.
