Atlantic hurricanes in 2025: CSU stands by ‘above average’ prediction

The tropical Atlantic remains on track for an above-average hurricane season that could feature four major hurricanes, Colorado State University’s Tropical Weather & Climate Research department said in an updated forecast that matched its April view.
