Australia Christmas storms industry losses pegged at over $900m

Catastrophe risk modelling firm Perils has pegged its initial industry loss estimate for the Australia Christmas Storms at A$1.4 million ($908 million). The storms were the largest cat loss for the Australian insurance industry for 2023.
