Aviation insurance has become a game of black swans and wildcards with fewer visible ties to longer-standing hard-set rules internal to the product line, a survey of aviation underwriters by the International Union of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI) together with the International Underwriting Association (IUA) and Swiss Re has shown.
