AXIS Capital nabs talent from Argo Pro to lead its E&O offer in the US
Global specialty re/insurer AXIS Capital has tapped rival Argo Pro for a 35-year vet of professional liability lines to head up its errors and omissions (E&O) offer in the US.
Pauline Morley steps in as head of E&O to drive AXIS's growth in professional liability, effective immediately. She reports to John Van Decker, head of global financial lines.
Morley brings over 35 years of experience in professional liability underwriting and leadership and joins from Argo Pro where she served as senior vice president, miscellaneous professional liability and architects & engineers liability. Morley has also held senior positions at Western World Insurance Group, Travelers, Tokio Marine HCC and USI.
Van Decker said: “Pauline brings extensive E&O expertise in addition to proven leadership skills that are integral to building on our position in the professional liability market. She will help shape the direction of our portfolio by deepening our existing broker relationships, pursuing additional sectors for profitable growth, and bolstering our existing underwriting strength.”
