Bank of England threatens to restrict ‘amount and structure’ of funded reinsurance

UK insurers could face regulatory restrictions on the “amount and structure” of funded reinsurance deals if they do not adequately manage risks and tighten controls protecting pension savers, The Bank of England  has warned in a letter to life insurance CEOs.
