The race to define the future of institutional digital assets is accelerating, and Bermuda is making its intentions clear. With its consultation on the use of recognised stablecoins within insurance, insurance-linked securities (ILS) and investment fund structures, the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) is signalling that it wants the island to be a jurisdiction where on-chain capital can operate within a robust prudential framework.
