Bermuda's life reinsurance market has found itself responding to questions posed elsewhere. UK regulators, US policymakers and international standard setters have all scrutinised the island’s role in the rapid growth of funded and asset-intensive reinsurance. But the Bermuda Monetary Authority’s (BMA) latest consultation package is shifting the conversation.
