BHSI hands top surety claims role to talent taken recently from Intact

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) pushed a surety claims guru up the ladder, handing its top role in the line to recently acquired talent.

Jeff Jubera becomes head of surety claims, a notch up from the post of VP for surety claims which he claimed upon joining BHSI in 2021. Jubera came to BHSI with more than two decades of surety claims and litigation experience. Prior to BHSI, he was Vice President, Surety Claims, at Intact Insurance Company.

Robert Romeo, BHSI’s head of claims for North America, commented: “Under Jeff’s management, our claims team has been consistently delivering the best-in-class – CLAIMS IS OUR PRODUCT – claims experience that we strive to provide. I look forward to seeing all the benefits he will bring to our claims team, customers and brokers in his new role as he continues to impact and shape the future of surety business at BHSI.”
