BMS lures Oneglobal, ex-JLT executive for key Bermuda role
Global brokerage BMS has appointed a high-ranking executive from Oneglobal, a pedigree spanning JLT, RFIB, Miller and Willis in Bermuda and London, as director of energy and complex liability.
Craig Douglas (pictured) joined BMS Group in January as director casualty. He is based in Bermuda.
Douglas was previously executive director at Oneglobal, where he played a key role in establishing its Bermuda operations and leading its Bermuda liability practice.
Reporting to Russell Williams, head of liability at BMS in Bermuda, BMS said Douglas brought with him 25 years of industry experience, making him an invaluable addition to BMS Group and our clients.
Douglas joined Oneglobal in 2021 and was previously executive vice president of RFIB (Bermuda) from 2018 to 2021. From 2010 to 2018, Douglas was with JLT Group on London and Bermuda, where he was partner for casualty.
In a LinkedIn post last month, Douglas said he was looking forward to “a year of working hard, challenges and exciting opportunities”.
