Boardroom gender parity still a long way off

When it comes to gender parity in the boardroom, the numbers are sobering. Progress is happening – but at a glacial pace. Deloitte’s ‘Women in the boardroom: a global perspective’ 2024 report shows that just over 23% of board seats worldwide are held by women, a mere three-percentage point increase over two years.
