Boris to inflict up to $2.2bn in losses, eased by enhanced flood defences

Storm Boris is projected to cause between €1.6 billion and €2.1 billion ($1.7 to $2.2 billion) in market losses across Central Europe, “notably lower” by historical standards due to improved flood management, according to Guy Carpenter’s preliminary estimates.
