Brown & Brown raises $8bn in debt and equity to fund Accession deal
US insurance brokerage and MGA stable Brown & Brown has raised nearly $4.2 billion in new debt and just shy of $4 billion on new equity for its pending purchase of Accession Risk Management, paying yields up to 6.285% for its longest 30-year tenor note and taking a mild discount from secondary market levels for new equity.
