CA Wildfire Fund gathers cash, writes Will for possible Eaton verdict

The Eaton fire in southern California in January 2025 could easily break the bank at the California Wildfire Fund should it be fully attributed to the local power utility. Fund administrators have already begun liquidating investments for cash and plotting an eventual wind-up for the subrogation pool if claims run beyond capacity.
