California FAIR Plan working hard to get policy count down, numbers head in wrong direction

California’s insurer of last resort for fire coverage, the California FAIR Plan, says it is working hard to get policy numbers down, but so far has been rewarded by an all-time record high month of new policy growth in a strained market as wildfires tore through LA in January, a top official has indicated.
