California orders insurers to preserve coverage for 64,000 Gann Fire policyholders
California insurance commissioner Ricardo Lara (pictured) has ordered insurers to preserve residential property insurance coverage for more than 64,000 policyholders affected by the Gann Fire, following an emergency declaration by Governor Gavin Newsom on August 6.
