Cat bond funds defy record issuance with 26-month winning streak

Pure-play catastrophe bond funds extended their winning streak in July, their 26th month of consecutive market gains, adding 1% in value, a light acceleration as treaty renewals wrap up and bond issuance slows for the hurricane season, an index tracking cat bond fund valuations from Plenum Investments has shown.
