Cat bond funds return 9,9% in ’25 in nearly uninterrupted, paced gains

Pure-play cat bond investment funds ended 2025 with a roughly 9.9% valuation gain, below the near 14% gain from 2024 but a handy accomplishment given that the cat bond market swallowed record new issuance along the way, a weekly index of bond fund pricing compiled by Plenum Investments has shown.
