Cat bond issuance race to year-end said to tally $3-4bn and counting

Cat bond issuance is heating up for the year-end issuance spree ahead of the 1/1 reinsurance renewals, with $3-4 billion countable in the pipeline as 1-2 new deals line up for the market each day, a dedicated cat bond fund manager has indicated for Intelligent Insurer.
