Cat bonds shrug off soft reinsurance market with record Q2 issuance

Second quarter cat bond issuance hit a record $11 billion, putting H1 2026 at pace with the prior year and on track for the second consecutive year above the $20 billion mark, global re/insurance broker Aon has claimed.
